As part of the Business Unit Aftermarket & Industrial Solutions the Aftermarket Product Department’s mission is to Develop a competitive offer for the European Aftermarket, ensuring profitable business growth and DENSO strategic positioning and brand awareness, while maintaining operational efficiency (supply, stocks, and sales support).
Your main responsibilities areas will be:
Collaborate with Aftermarket Business Development in the definition of mid & long term product and service development strategy for the Starter & Alternator product group.
Conduct market and competitors analyses to identify trends and product development opportunities
Cooperate with the definition of pricing policies for new and existing products with different Aftermarket stakeholders and support special prices and campaigns management.
Maintain the relationship with suppliers in order to assure best conditions for existing product lines, purchase pricing, etc.
Collaborate with Strategic Marketing and Local MarCom in the definition of targets, activities and content.
Lead and support product range development, particularly NPI process management and coverage ratio
Provide market development activities and product promotion: communication, visiting key customers, finding possibilities and initiation activities for business improvement.
Co-create and align annual sales plan with stakeholders
Setup and maintain master data and pricing.
Input for sales forecasting, forecast maintenance and corrections related to market developments.
Review product sales performance and identify related countermeasures.
Manage a healthy stock level.
The ideal candidate has:
• University/HBO level with a technical (automotive) qualification
• International 3-5 years relevant experience in the automotive market
• Preferable Starter & Alternator Product knowledge
• Experience of working in an multi-cultural international environment
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel and PowerPoint; Lotus Notes, MS Project, MS Access.
• A systematic, methodical way of working, with an attention to detail
• Readiness to 1-2 times a quarter within Europe
You are fluent (written and oral) in English (and preferably in Dutch)
