As an automotive supplier DENSO is leading in developing and providing components and systems for heating, air conditioning, motor cooling, exhaust gas aftertreatment, automotive electrics and electronics and instrumentation.
We are looking for a capable Sales Engineer (m/f) Thermal Products as parental leave replacement until 31.08.2018 for our sales team located in Eching. You will be responsible for the competent technical and commercial consulting of defined customers and support the realization of agreed targets such as sales and profit increase and customer satisfaction for our products. In Eching, near Munich is one of our strategic engineering centres and provides a range of capabilities including in vehicle testing of air conditioners, climatic and acoustic chambers, component test benches and a state of the art wind-tunnel.
In detail you will:
handle commercial and technical requirements in coordination with our customers and related internal departments,
support the development of product sales strategies and take care of their implementation,
prepare offers, negotiate the commercial and technical offer contents as well as create/ check the contract documents,
take care of the general project and order handling considering specifications and cost conditions,
set up statistics and sales plans,
develop and intensify our customer relationship and directly support the key account management.
You will typically have a university degree as a mechanical, industrial or automotive engineer or comparable technical education or commercial education with high interest in automotive engineering. First professional experience in sales and project management in the automotive (supplier) industry is of advantage, but highly motivated career starters are also welcome. Comfortable working both independently and in international teams with a high dedication and self-initiative you will demonstrate strong analytical and communication skills as well as a good network capability. You are likely to have persuasive power, good judgment and strong negotiations skills.
You will work within an international and highly diverse and multi-cultural organization on a day-to-day basis. A very good level of English and German ability both written and verbal will be needed. In this role you will be expected to undertake regular business travel. Therefore a driver’s license class B is necessary.
