DENSO is a leading global supplier of advanced technology, systems and components to the worlds’ major car makers. We are perpetually looking to make things, better. So, we are constantly searching for students like you!
At DENSO we see the advantage of offering a wide variety of interesting undergraduate placements and graduate projects to students from all disciplines. You will find yourself dealing with a diverse team of people, working on challenging live projects and putting theory into practice. During your 12 month undergraduate placement you’ll be treated like a normal employee from day one and follow the standard induction process. As a result you’ll get ‘real’ and valuable experience of working in a multinational company.
DENSO Sales UK is based on two sites, in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire and Coventry, West Midlands and has teams specialising in automotive Engineering, Sales, Quality and Logistics.
Based in either the Coventry or Hemel Hempstead office, you will gain hands-on experience of working within a DENSO team, helping to manage a major automotive manufacturer customer. Your responsibilities could include handling elements of account management based activities or application engineering based tasks or supporting the pre-mass QA team for new product introduction. You may also get experience in project management, commercial negotiations and logistics support in relation to a specific project or product lines, including documentation and system updates. On a daily basis you will deal with issues relating to customer projects, liaising with internal departments, DENSO in Japan and manufacturing sites worldwide.
We will be looking for interested students to join us from August 2018 for 12 months. You will need to be someone who is a clear thinker, great communicator and is looking for an opportunity to use their initiative within an established framework. We want you to build relationships both within the DENSO team and our customer. You will have a passion for technical products and are likely to be studying for an engineering or business studies degree. An interest in the automotive industry would be an advantage. As well as proof of eligibility to work in the UK, you will also need a good standard of English and a valid full driving license.
Applications for these roles will only be accepted through our website at www.densojobs.com. Please state your preference for location at either our Hemel Hempstead or Coventry site in your application.
